US Fissiden can grow well without those guidelines you mentioned. They will grow even in 30 degree + tank with medium lighting. Though very slowly.

Very impressive moss tank! The fissidens are so dense and well grown.

haha wow this is good.. but when u grow your tank in indirect sunlight won't it get algae bloom? personally i feel the worst thing that could happento fissidens is black brush algae. because its so hard to remove manually, and dosing with excel will also kill the fissidens.

    WOW! That looks AMAZING!

When I first started reading this thread I was thinking to myself "Wah.. that's quite fantastic"

And when I saw the latest picture I was like.. "WHAT???" My eye-balls almost jumped out their sockets man!

Another 3 months and you will have more fissidens than water in that tank haha!

Will you be doing any trimming? Are you worried about the bottom-most layer of the fissdens turning brown and dying?

    Hi,
I have not trim them for more than half year......lazy.
Those bottom layer fissiden in front of my tank dont turn brown , maybe due to bright light.

Yeah, really amazing right. Mind to share your secret on keeping algaes out? Because my experience with sunlight is it grows algae fast. My experience with fissidens is they grow so slow that it does not deprive the algae. Put them together, uncontrollable algae growth. Pls pls share your secret. Thanks in advance bro!
