    Hi,
    I am looking for some information of a fish, which i believe is two spotted barb. Anybody have a picture to show ? and do LFS have them sometimes ?

    is this what you're looking for? there is also a two-spotted rasbora, so make sure don't get confused

    I guess it isn't the fish i am looking for. I must have identify wrongly. I will try looking up some fish books too. meanwhile if anyone come across any more suspicious looking "Two spotted barbs", maybe can post here.

    OK, what about this one then? The one on top Rasbora elegans is also known as "Two-spotted Rasbora" and is native to Singapore. The one below is Rasbora sumatrana.

    Hi,
    hmm...these doesn't looks like too, but the shape might have looked like the top one, only broader...and the spot is behind the gill plates, if i remember correctly.

    Confusing 2 spotted fishes !!![]
