I might be wrong but the chitin or 'shell' of mealworms/darkling beetle (Tenebrio molitor) can cause impaction of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract in young or small frogs. Personally, I'd go with sub-adult crickets or young superworm (Zophobas morio) since their protein level is generally much higher than that of mealworms.
General rule of thumb is that the feeder bug is no bigger than the space between the eyes, in your case, of the frog.
