I have two cute little sucker fish bought from a local fish shop. The head is flat and round, like a stingray, size of a 50cents coin. Body length from head to tail is less than 2 inches. The body/tail is like a otos but bigger. They stick to the glass wall and eat algae. Most of the time, they hide under the driftwood.

I have released them into a fibreglass pond when I cleared my glass tank. I forgot to take a picture and now it is not possible when they are in the pond.

Do you know the name or family of fish they belong to?

From what you said, i would guess it is a hillstream loach, (gastromyzon borneensis/beaufortia kweichowensis). They like cool fast-flowing waters as they are found in mountain streams in the wild.

Yes. They look exactly like the image of gastromyzon borneensis.

    Thank you so much.
