    1) Definite no, will attack shrimps
    2) Shouldnt attack adults, might feast on shrimplets?
    3) Otos are shrimp safe, botias should be in the same category as corys
    4) Shouldnt attack adults, will definitely attack shrimplets
    5) Not sure
    6) i think only scarlet badis is safe, even so it might attack shrimplets

Re: What type of fish can keep with shrimps?

Apart from what has been written already, I'll add these...
    3) I've kept otos with shrimp, they are fine. But loaches of any kind include snails and small shrimp as their natural diet.
    5) absolutely no. Have you seen how big the mouths are on a killie?
    6) no! Bumblebee goby likes brackish water.

As with most fish, they see shrimp as part of their diet. So while some small fish might not have mouths big enough to eat shrimp whole, I've personally seen fish pick at the shrimp's legs, taking them off one by one. The fish will eat pieces of the shrimp until it's dead and or small enough to swallow.

If you want to keep your expensive and rare shrimp alive, it's best to avoid adding fish into the same tank.
Who knows, that shrimplet that the fish ate, might have been your next SSS mosura CRS.

Just saw a LFS having a nice mini black sucker fish that can grow up to about 3 cm. It sucks to the wall of the tank all the time. Anybody tried? Tempted.

Kept corydoras sterbai previously. My shrimps would be hiding in the moss all the time as the nice cories were always dashing around aggressively in the tank.

If that fish that you saw can only grow up to 3cm and likes to rest on the tank glass, then it it should be an otocinclus... or it could also be a pleco, which in that case will grow much larger, contrary to what the LFS uncle says.

That pleco is either L181 or L183, grows to quite a large size. About 20cm for the former, 10cm for the latter.
