    hey guys, i got this problem where by my containers containing mosses, usually have small slug like organism. about 2 mm long. what are those?
    Moved on from plants to predatory fishes, but still finding for inspiration for a 3ft planted tank.

    haha bro it could be some snail or so ba.. cos i have one tied moss on the rock then i place in the tank and happen that the tank have snails and as time pass it infested by snail cos they multiply dammmm fast!!! then i transfer the moss to another tanks(no snail at all) but less i know now my other tank start to have some small snails. ,y point is it could be possible that the mosses u get from have some of this organism but it startng to grow and visible to you!

    Ps i got hard time trying to get ride of the snails.. LOL!

    are snails bad? i got 1 zebra snail. and i get worried everytime it walks over my mosses.

    1. do zebra snail eat my mosses such as US fissidens?

    2. where can i get plants to cover my grounds? definitely i cant take HC. any other suggestions?

    3. wrt question 2, where to go to get the best deals for such plants?

    4. should i remove the snail?

    and the worst thing is its too small to take a picture of it.

    and what can i try to do, so as to fix it?

    are those slugs a cause for worry?>

    1)Ans: they don't really eat the mosses but infect they help you finish up all the rotton or dead mosses and also remove algae
    2)ans: you can try like hair grass or glasso.
    3)Ans: almost all LFS they do sell planted but u can try c328 ,nature etc. they have wider variety
    4)ans: it depend if they don't multiply then it good but if they multiply then i wish you all the best. hehe

    A) you just remove it.
    b) let it grow and when it bigger then decide
    c) just leave it alone!

    if me.. for any unknown creature i will remove it cos i never know if it will harm my other plant or fishes.. so it better to be safe than sorry.. imho.

    ok thanks. i shall head down to seaview and ask if they have the hair grass/glasso.

    Bro... try to go for Hair grass la cos i heard that hair grass is easier to grow compared to glasso... i went to one of the farm in Pasir ris and got back some Glasso not only hard to grow the planting part is also tricky. i have hard time... where eles Hair grass is easier! i do have some hair grass extra do let me know if have not gotten yours!
