Yes... a number of us had the same problem. It happen when they eat FD worms, flake food, etc. I guess it is the bouyancy effect. It still happen to my fishes... no harm done.

My bunch of cardinal tetras seem to struggle to keep themselves from floating. This happens after a feed, when most of them would be finning diagonally downward. Not graceful motion but more of a struggle to keep from floating. The moment they stop, they would float a little towards the surface.
Are they infected by any parasite or some disease which interferes with their swim bladder.
Or are they merely gulping air together with the micro pellets on the surface.
And it is this build up of air in them that causes them to be more bouyant then usual? Is this normal?
Their appetites are fine, in fact they are voracious.
Anyone had cardinals like these?

My Neons used to do that too. I always wondered why they "look at the gound" at an 80 degrees angle thereabout. However as mentioned by yourself they're fine with good appetite so i just let them be. Seems to be a normal sign for these fishes.
============================
NEON TETRAS WOULD BE PERFECT IF NOT FOR THE ^#&*!()%@^&@%# NEON TETRA DISEASE!!
I have two tanks of them:
01 tank are bought from GAN, so called "WILD" Cardinals and are now about 3cm in length. Never had this problem.
01 tank from LFS, so called "Farm Bred", well all exhibit the behaviour you describe after any feed. Weird. Could it be some organ disorder, read about it something before...not sure.
