One of my L183 that I got from c328 is losing it's colour while the other is still having it's jet black colour. Anyone knows what's wrong?

I doubt is stress. It is inside my small tank for 2 days and it didn't show that it's colour fading.

What do you feed to a juvenile L183? Mine doesn't seem to be eating the algae wafers given.

I never feed them at all.. They seems to be happily grazing on my GSA or brown algae on my glass.. Even my oto also not eating algae wafers, just kept scraping on my glass..

@Alvinchan if algae is food to them, why need cultivate it! Can save some money on the food. Feed less!

@porky I doubt. I think when fishes sleep the heart pump slower make them look pale. My theory LOL. As my discus too lose colour when asleep.

I don't think algae can spread that way.. Haha.. But if you need hair algae, I would gladly pull out some for you... Haha... I have some hair algae somewhere...

Maybe GSA or Brown algae I can just scrape off and give you the tank water?

The hair algae, who will eat! I doubt otos, my goby or L183 does? Brown one... Even you pass me your tank water, i doubt can "cultivate" and use it to feed, but i don't mind trying

    Thanks!

    Re: Help with L183

L183 will eat almost all sinking pellets. Algae alone will not be sufficient. They settle in quite fast in any mature aquarium, if yours have not then give them some time.
