in most aquarium, other than thoes lou han type.

you can ask for artemia eggs if you want, more expensive but wif higher hatch rate.

i would personally prefer artemia eggs.

yes, most lfs do sell artemias. except that they are mostly known as their nick names - sea monkeys. they are exactly the same as brine shrimps and the different brands haf different hatch rates. i use to haf a bottle which cost mi 15 bucks but due to the hassle involved in hatching, and sorting out the eggs wif the artemias.. i dicided to give it up. tried to invent my own artemia hatchin machine, but to no avail. the procedures are really troublesome.well if you want brine shrimps, you can provide for the packet- brine shrimps in lou han shops, the correct environment and let them breed. brine shrimp are, in case you don't know, are orangey red when seen in clusters and currently, i noticed that alot of lfs has it, together with the packets of frogs and small fishes for luo hans.

    artemia is not daphnia

Well, only eggs that are packed in laboratory conditions and kept in fridge will yield a high hatch rate. And the only LFS i can think of that imports and keep their eggs in the fridge is petmart.
My eggs are frm America. Ordered through timebomb
