sorry, didn't mean to say that you can't grow anything apart from glosso But really, you know how to make glosso grow. Next time I try glosso, will follow this thread from how to plant and all.

Floating glosso is scooped out using fine net. I have removed the glass diffuser for cleaning and replace it with clean set.


Tank glass is cleaned with blade scrapper before performing water change. Easier to clean off GDA/GSA compare to magnet type and I dont have to wet my hand.

wow, seems like u manage to get ur glosso growing well without high co2(u mentioned 1bps only) and only dosing brightly K? no N, P and micro nutrients?

Evo - bps is just a guide. The rate of co2 does not determine how much co2 you have in water column. It depends on your diffusion efficiency too.

I am only using BorneoWild Growth & ADA Brighty K (to be changed to BorneoWild Essence K).

Occasionally i dose mineral powder after water change.

Previously yes but not anymore. Currently everything is based on observation, between the plant reaction and co2 injection.

Water is added until the "bubble" head is fully submerged.


Close up shot. I like the wave effect. Co2 diffuser is placed below the output to test the vortex effect. The result is fine co2 bubble got suck into the "bubble" head and circulate inside before being push out again. I am not exactly sure if this will cause co2 loss but further monitoring will be done from tomorrow onwards.
