    Guys,

Got myself a 2nd hand Macro Denitrator MBE 100 (see link http://216.13.188.226/macro/embe.htm) good for 400 litres yesterday as my nitrates are a rather high 80 ppm.

Got some questions about the thing cos it came with no instruction booklets and I just kinda figured out how it will work.

I have tuned the input such that the effluent is just about a drop a second as recommended. Will that be correct?

Also, do I have to feed the denitrator? The guy who sold the thing to me said to feed about a teaspoon of sugar daily, or the bacteria will die and produce lots of nitrate again.

    Comments welcome please
