Hi guys, would like to do a new aquascape with a sand path incoporated. Is there anyone of you who has experience with this concept and can care to share with me your experience? WIll greatly appreciate. Like what type of gravel/sand you used for the sand path and how I can go about doing it to prevent a big mess from happening!

    Thanks in advance!
    Cheers!

    Re: Sand Path

Just to share with you my 2 cents how I do it, there are several methods, but I normally stick to 1 for convenience.
1.Place all plants in pots first.
    2. place the plants and rocks and wood till you are satisfied with the shape.
    3. pour the sand on the trail you intended bit by bit till you see the shape appear.

There are a few rules to follow first:
    1. Don't use white sand unless it is short term, they get green algae fast, use fine river sand or black quartz sand.
    2. Shape the sand by waving gently with your hand or net. for finer shaping, fan with a tweezer.
