What is the name of the plant that grows spiral leaves? Seen it at the display tank at several LFS. How much does it usually cost?

BTW, does Ah Pek sell mini riccia and this 'spiral' plant?

Wish I could help you but in the absence of a picture, it could be anyone's guess.....but I think you may have seen a Val....you may want to check out the tropica website.

Not too sure about Ah Pek selling mini riccia but I know Ah Tan does.

Are you refering to Ah Tan from Bioplast?

I went there last week. They only sell in meshes, even though they have plenty floating around in their tanks.

Found the name of the plant, its called Vallisneria spiralis var. tortifolia. Common name is Corkscrew Val.


What is the usual price of this plant?

Vals are usually very cheap ... provided you can find the exact species you like to use. Perhaps $2 for a bunch?
