    Hi to all,

WHenever the lights of my tank goes off... the cardinal tetras seems to go into shock and start dashing around the tank, some were even seen dashing into the gravel...
Anyone knows if this will harm the fishes and how to avoid it?

Try to off yr tank light first b4 u off yr room light.
Take care of your water, and your water will take care of your fish. Clear water may not be clean water. To obtain good water quality, nothing beat water change.

it's natural. They have the mother nature that, their back also face the source of light. In the experiement done in the space, their back always face the source of the light when they change the position of the light.
When the light is off so sunddenly, the fish(especially cardinal, viewing from top, the coloration are their natural defence system) panic coz it lose the direction of light so quick that does nto have enough time to adjust.
