same problem, don't bother solving
however, the drop in flow rate only occurs for me after 4 months or so
when that happens i usually go and top it up
what regulator are you using?
Do you guys face this problem as I do? The thing is this: everytime I top up co2, pressure quite high, then use needle valve to adjust to the desired flow rate? Then maybe after 1-2 months, the pressure drops due to less CO2 in the tank, hence flow rate also decreases.
Question: How do you guys ensure that you will have the same flow rate, assuming I'm the lazy kind, dun like to look at the regulator meter, and the bubble counter?[]

strange nick......for me is the other way round.....when the CO2 cylinder is full, the needle flow rate is low....as the cylinder is half full, the flow rate the needle valve increases till near zero then it drops......

is your regulator the one that cuts off when the pressure is too high?
Mine is quite OK... the pressure maintains till the co2 gets low level thus the flow rate reduces
Hmm... my regulator is the type sold by Ah Pek, think is a Taiwanese brand. Connected to a solenoid. Always face the same problem of slower bubble count after 2 months or so. Then have to readjust the needle valve to achieve the bubble count desired. No choice loh, what to do. Have to monitor the bubble count from time to time.
i adjust as and when I see the difference, or else, I will leave it alone
I believe so DEA now that you mentioned it.....
