I had planted HC in my new tank. 4days passed, some are growing OK but some have dark green and looked very soft (I suppose this is not a good sign?).

Are my HC going to melt? Any suggestions to help those that are still surviving?

Water temp is 28C. DIY C02. 3x24w 10hours lighting. Just started to dose Flourish & Flourish Excel to help on the situation last night.

How big is your tank? I'm no expert on HC but am now trying to grow a lawn of HC in my tank. Your HC seems to be growing upwards which may be indication of insufficient lighting. As for the melting, it could be a transition period which will stop after awhile.
The possibility is endless on what we can create

maybe converting from emmersed to submersed.

Mine took 1 week+ to convert... you can see the old leaves dying away but the new ones should be green.

Yes, mine is like what zonkkie had posted. I used to have high light 4x24w in my 2ft tank. But to solve the green water problem, I am using 3x24w now.

New green leaves are sprouting and they are bright green. I don't think I have insufficient light.

Are you using any fert. and the dosage?
