Ice and water, if it was healthy and of suitable size, it becomes feeder food.
What is culling?
Sorry, it's too harsh to cull a fish.
Flush it down the sewage.
Set it free in a canal or drain.
Let it suffocate.
Feed it to a predator fish.
Smash it or drop a heavy weight on it.
Place the fish in a container and then into a refrigerator (freezer compartment).
Place it in a container with water and ice.
Ignore the deformities and give it to others anyway.
Tried and tested all the above methods, love it all!

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and he will drink beer while getting sunburnt.
i use transmore
I quickly sever it's head with a razor knife. Not pretty, but effective and instant.
Find a pond and pour in there. Let the nature take its place.
It is not good to release our captive and possibly sick fish into the wilds, also it can be illegal, so make a check, the fines are quite high!

I basically just smack the head against something hard, or isolate it in a plastic tank and let it die. The most humane way for me is to immerse it in freezing water. It should more or less instantly kill the fish. Do not under any circumstance, release the fish into our waterways, be it a pond/drain/river/lake/sea. I know some people do this because of religious convictions, but there are no favours to be done for such fishes. We have enough introduced species running "wild" as it is, don't add more..

I put them in a bag of water and place it in the freezer.

No culling for me.... all living things deserve a chance to live...

Place it in freezing cold water, usually dies in less than 3 seconds. Anybody cull it by feeding it to your bigger fish?
That is true. They die from osmotic shock upon release into our reservoirs or any water bodies, without proper acclimatisation, like how we do it with our fish and shrimps, especially with sensitive species. Those that survive, will cause severe changes to the local ecosystems. The presence of non-native species is testament to this.
@benlauhhh, that is understandable. Different people have different ideas on what constitutes a humane way to kill a fish. Sometimes I don't subject a fish to my culling method, because I don't have anything to cull.

sigh didn't know giving the fishes away is considered culling also...
on a side note, what do you guys do with your monster fish when they pass on? throw it down the dustbin?
If they are already dead, sometimes I flush them down the toilet. This of course only works with smaller fishes. However, the right way of disposal is to bag them and throw them in the bin, or bury them if you wish. If it was a special pet, burial or cremation is probably the best way to do it. Just like what they do with pet dogs and cats.
