That ecihnodorus bleheri will grow very big out of the water and starts flowering..
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and he will drink beer while getting sunburnt.

    Nice big swords.

Is that white piece in the center a coral? Nicely shaped!

Thanks all for the kind comments!

The E. Bleheri is about 4" shy of the surface. It's been in there for a while and hasn't grown much taller -- yet When it does outgrow this tank is will be move over to the 5ft. tall one. If it outgrows that one, we'll grab some salad dressing and go to town

The white piece in the center is a small rainbow rock. It has since been replaced with a much larger piece with Anubias mounted on it =) It captures the moonlighting so nicely, too =)

Will update this thread with new shots once I get over being sick....

Did you use any base fert or root tabs around the Amazon Sword and the echinodoras plant (the one at the middle of the tank and in front of the white "rock")?

The base "fert." is the fluorite substrate throughout the tank. The swords also get root tabs, yes.
