It was since my last update in May03. Here is the current look for your comments.

Nice tank overall!
Just some feedback-- perhaps some red plants would vastly improve the overall layout
...I love rubies too ...

Nice! Plant choices just right for a small tank.
Personally, I would like to cover up the gap between the MM and Java Fern. Perhaps with more MM or some reddish stem plants such as L.arcuata, R.indica, R.macrandra? If not, how about a nice small driftwood separating the MM and APP to add some object of interest?

Can you share your experience of planting the MM.
How long had it been in your tank?
How do you manage to get it so thick?
Nice tank and it looks like a 3ft tank to me.
nice tank! at first look though it was a 3ft tank!
Looks nice, i like the bright green colors youve picked for the plants. Im not a huge fan of all the reds unless its just one bright red plant that really grabs your attention. Great tank.

Hi bros,
Thanks for the valuable inputs.
I use the liberty type of filter. I have thought about moving it to the back of the Java fern where my CO2 flipper is but I was worry of the water circulation at the right side of the tank. Yes, background is dirty [] only clean it once a while cos lazy.
Juggler, I like the small driftwood idea. In fact I have 2 small pcs of rocks there but APP grown over them
As for the red plants, I couldn't find a suitable one for the layout with low maintenance and finally give up on that.
Chua,
Sure. I also have hard time planting it well initially. I then realised that it needs a lot of light and my K dosage is insufficient. After I moved it to the strong lighting spot and more K, it grows very fast.
To get the "bushy" effect, I just plant more and trim as they grow longer without pulling out the MM. It is still not the idea one that I hope as I have seen some that looks like an "MM ball"...really nice... I seen once in Amano's book too.
Sorry for being ignorant...may I know which plant is MM and what does MM stand for? Thanks!
By the way..NICE TANK!
