Here is my first try at a planted tank and its still in the process of being stabalized and established. I have been trying to get BGA under control and my plants growing for many months. But i still seem to have a little problem. I got most of the plants were i want them now so im going to let them settle in for the months to come. Also i need to work out my C02 problem. My DIY C02 doesnt seem to be consistent so i have to make a new one to make sure i have a good seal and try again. So thats the scoop on this tank so far, enjoy.

    Setup:
    10G Plastic
    2 10w 6700K Screw in Flo. Bulbs / 10hrs a day, 12pm - 10pm
    Penguin BioWheel Mini
10 Lbs Natural Gravel, Medium Grained w/ Laterite underlayment

    Plants:
    Water Sprite
    Myriophyllum aquaticum
    Ludwigia Repens {need to be pruned and planted soon}

    Fish:
    4 White Clouds
    4 Ember Tetras
    2 Dwarf Gold Rasboras
    1 Endler (Male)

What is that in the center? Replace it with a driftwood would reduce the color contrast and make it more pleasing to the eyes.

    depth,

sorry but the 'Dino egg' looks out of place.. u should consider a foreground plant rather than leaving it bare. Do consider the height of the plants you choose

Good start. Should put in more plants. The gravel looks coarse for some plants though. Do you use any base fertiliser?

Yes i know the rock was to add some humor from another forum. I would consider a foreground plant but what can i use for a 2 wpg tank that ive been battling BGA with? Also Simon what do you mean by consider the size of the plants? Do the ludwigs get real tall? Thanks for the comments keep them comming. O and also would electical tape be harmful to anyfish? I was thinking of a way of hiding the air tube from my C02.

Instead of using black electrical tape, you can slot the air-tube into a black pvc pipe (of a small diameter) or plant more densely in front of the air-tube.

actually for the plants u have now, don't really need co2 if u have base fert.
i have those in my 1.5ft w/o co2 and cocopeat base fert and they grow super fast. need weekly trimming and dose liq fert fortnightly (abit only).
    Cheers,

You can consider plants with smaller leaves since your tank is small.

This will give your tank more depth.

Some examples are MM and MU.
