Will hatchet jump out of tank?

Read from the Internet that hatchet can jump out of the tank but a LFS said they won't.

Any experience to share?

That's bad for planted tanks.

When shocked, like the sudden turning on of lights, they will jump. If you give them a layer of floating plants as cover, they might be less prone to jumping. As a precaution, get a mesh cover or a clear piece of acrylic with holes for ventilation.
