visiting singapore soon

hi guys,

im visiting singapore soon and would like to get recommendations for just 2-3 shops to visit while there. i dont have much time so i would like to get opinions on where to go for just half a day's worth of "planted tank stuff" shopping? i would probably stay in orchard road area...

i know there is a list for sites in singapore but would like to ask which are the ones that carry lots of plants and equipments too

Blk 721, Clementi West Street 2 - Colourful Aquarium
Blk 354, Clementi Avenue 2 - Green Chapter
Blk 328, Clementi Avenue 2 - Polyart and Florist

all 4 lfs are more popular and are less than 5 mins drive from each other.

if you don't wants to miss out another popular LFS,

Blk 1, Thomson Road - NA

You can go to Clementi as there are many good LFS there. Stop by Clementi Blk 328, and you can visit Clememti Florist & Aquarium (C32 and Polyart in one block. C328 carry lots of plants and equipment, but you need to know what you want as the shop can be messy and crowded. A few blocks across the road and you can visit GreenChapter at Blk 354. They also carry a lot of aquascaping tools and equipments. If you still have time, can also visit Colourful Tropical Aquarium at Blk 721, another good place to pick up some plants.

haha, of course i will recommended oversea friends to go these few shops as they are more popular for price and range. just sad that why Bedok do not have LFS groupings together in 1 town. haha

From orchard mrt, take the train down south to raffles place. Cross over the platform and take the train to clementi. From clementi station to blk 328 and 354 are all walking distance. Blk 721 is more further and you might need to take a cab there. By the way, the opening hours of the shops is like 11am. Best if you go from 12-1pm if not you might have to wait for them to open.
