    Just diy a 4dkh solution , was wondering how long does it take to turn from blue to green ?

    are you referring to drop checker? kH solution by it self will not turn color. As for drop checker, it will turn color within around 2 hours provided you inject CO2 to the tank

    forgot to mention i added bromothymol blue with diy 4dkh , should be drop checker , not sure solution is accurate , max hours is 2 ?

    never actually timing it but normally start seeing color change in 2 hours

    To make 4dKH reference solution:

    Add 1 teaspoon (level, ~6 grams) of bicarbonate of soda (aka baking soda) to one liter of distilled water. This gives you one liter of water with a KH of 200 dKH. Now take 10 ml of that water and mix with 490 ml of distilled water (a dilution of 1 in 50) and you get 500 ml of 4 dKH water.
