They multiply like pest snails.
They are nice, eats algae, left over food etc. If not overfed, their population remains stable. I find them to be a healthy addition to a planted tank.

They multiply like crazy in my planted tanks and every 3 months i need to remove some for my friend puffer fish . But i saw they eating my hornworts and duckweed.

do they really eat plants? i never noticed they touched any plants. but multiply way way too fast - just like pond snails
Mine are seen eating dying salvina hortwort. Not the strong stem ones.
