tying miniriccia to large drift wood

hi, am thinking of tying my miniriccia to a piece of driftwood, ala what you can see at lake aquarium at ginza. Could anyone with experience in doing this offer advice? perhaps where i could get the netting, wht i should use to tie etc?

Some prefer to use netting on top of the drift woods while others just use fishing lines or normal sewing thread to tie over it. Either way is possible, i think you can visit www.petfrd.com site they also have some pictures there.
