should be algae.
Hello,
I just got myself a Vallisneria torti or twisted Vallisneria.
After a few days,I noticed that the leaves are now covered by white hair/ almost invisible hair.
Look abit furry..but it does not look like algae.
Iz it normal? Or my lighting aint good enuff.
Or lack of certain minerals?
This only can be seen on my vallisneria.
CO2 normal: 3bps;
Gravel Seachem Flourite: 30% Top layer;
Gravel Normal: 60% Bottom layer;
Ph: 6.5-7;
Temp: 29 Deg Celsius;
Lighting: 2 Watt/gallon;
Fertilization: root monster,Up fert sticks
Weekly water fertilizers;
should be algae.
Vals are know to lose some leaves before regrowing again. Algae will usually show up on weak/dying leaves.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Thanks Utopia and Vinz,
So the algae only attack the weak leaves.Thats a relief.
Thats explain why some leaves were left untouched.Really hope the leaves would grow again.
Cut the dying leaves away.
