Understand. But remember not to overtighten too much when you swap the new fitting in. Tapered fittings always have this issue.

What i practice is i will screw in the fitting and hand tighten first. Then i will use a spanner to go 1/4 turn to 1/2 turn for this size. You will need to put some telfon tape on the threads to reduce friction. You can go maybe 2 to 3 turns with the tape on the threads and put the cutted end closer to the hex head. You dont want any loose tape to choke up the opening.

ok thanks for the tip. anyway i looked around for a pressure gauge of similar specs and i manage to find some but the price is quite high , above $40 for 1 , is this normal?
I saw a few on ebay etc and they are mostly below $20

    Hi,
I'm scouting for a CO2 regulator and came across this OceanFree Essential Regulator. Its single gauge but its not indicated if it comes with a needle valve. I think its less than SGD30.
Has anyone used this? any comments or product reviews? I guess I will turn it off manually if I buy this.

And there are more expensive ones, the dual gauge and the dual gauge with solenoid.
