My new stingray

Hi Guys,

Got myself a new freshwater stingray. Any experts to give some information? What species, water conditions, diet, maximum length, etc. Thanks in advance

By the way, why is there a plastic tube at its tail, i thought freshwater rays dont grow sharp barbs

thats the barbed stings, fresh water ray do have the same defense as the saltwater counterpart

Yup, found out it is posionous as well but i guess i am safe for now since it is wrapped up in plastic. been feeding it the Massivore delite from Hikari. quite an appetite

Bro, I once saw a ray larger than 1.5ft in diameter in fish shop. So expect ray to grow larger than this.
