Just bought some yesterday. Admit that i do not know much about their needs before i bought them and a bit shocked to see their range of temperature range from 18 to 26 degrees Celcius.

Does this mean that the fishes sure mati sooner or later? I heard they can only take out of norm temperature for short time.

Hi Darkkon,
These minnows are more adaptable than you think. They not only survive but can breed, even in our climate.
Don't believe me? Dump a pair or two into a medium size pail with lots of java moss. Just feed and maybe a bi-weekly water change and you'll see young frys.
If you're not breeding them, don't worry... they won't die as easily unless otherwise abused []
