Bro, any idea where to get this? Does it change the PH level of the water?
Fish keeping is not a good hobby unless you received support from your family to keep them.

Re: Boneowild mineral rock- anybody experienced?

Interesting product. Very often people warn of anyhow putting rocks into the tank fearing of GH changing but here we have special rock to maintain the GH. Seems like a good natural alternative to dosing minerals like Seachem Equilibrium. Anyone got any experience to share on using this mineral rock?

Minerals is what's measured in GH, specifically Calcium and Magnesium which is found in this rock.
Midori site got mentioned on mildly increasing of GH/pH and the rock composition.

Just bought today. $31.50 for 500g worth. i bought 2 packs. kind of different from normal stone. a bit chalky to the touch no matter how many times you rinse it. no spike in PH/KH after 6 hours. see blog for more details http://sungod666.blogspot.com/2011/0...ral-stone.html

Japan's electronics are superb, their natural resources are no better than Singapore.

I have been using this for 2 mths now.. Quite impressed with how it fuctions and looks.. It crumbles easy when you disturb it but still looks nice.. Didnt alter my Gh at all so im quite happy because i dose Mineral Plus.. I believe its just added minerals for shrimps not so much for water parameters.. Do correct me if im wrong because this is just based on my experience with the product..

Was it used before? If yes then boil it for awhile but keep a watch out or it might just disintegrate...
