Dear experts, is it possible to post a thread here about nutrients deficiency on the plant and their actual cause and of course rectification method?

For example like leaves melting away, curling up at the leave edge, turning brown, holes in the leaves .......
these are symptoms of nutrients deficiency and other problem. So it will be good to know what is the exact trace that is missing and the cause. Then with a recommendation on the rectification, I am sure many forumers here will benefit from this thread.

    Thanks.

This topic has been discussed before....ID deficiencies can be difficult and not all plants show the same deficiency symptom for a particular nutrient.

To prevent deficiency, all you have to do is to dose 2-3times per week base on max uptake and large water changes to correct excess nutrients if your plants are not growing at the max rate. Simple and easy...

Think it is posted somewhere before by Juggler. Try to look in FAQ for it,

Did a search by posting from Juggler but can't find any of the topics about nutrients deficiency.

Can the experts continue the list rather?

Maybe I should start with something I already know (correct me if I am wrong):

    1. Brown portion appearing at the edge of the leave shows sign of over nutrients. Remedy is to lower the dosage.

the thread posted by Juggler with links to the relevant articles is in the Aquatic FAQ section.... scroll down until you see the relevant thread.

Do have a read through the linked articles (the Chuck Gadd site also has many other very useful articles)..... then if you need further clarification (not all information may be applicable to all aquarists), then post your query here.
