    the term is propagate..... reproduction implies the act of sex..... i am not sure if you are legally entitled to it.

    to propagate the plant, cut the stems and plant them in the substrate. that's all.

    uh that's all? where do i cut the stem in order not to injure the plant? i notice at each point where leaves are branched out there's strands of root-like roots... lol...

    do i cut them there?

    Yes, cut at the point of the stem between the leaf-growing areas, and plant the cutting. the leave buds on the remaining stem below will continue to develop.

    I have no experience with Tonina, but imagine it applies similarly.

    J1ing, if you have sufficient light, CO2 and good fertilizer they will grow super fast. You should have no fear in losing them by cutting.

    I cut and throw away quite a lot of them every week.

    yes... My H. Difformis torn leaf develope roots while floating on the water surface a week. But it really take much longer.
