    ya. been maintaining the temp at 26-27 now. will only on the fan when the aircon is off.

    I think it's important to ask the LFS when u buy plants, whether or not they require CO2 or ferts.
    And if your current temp in your tank is suitable or not.

    Most of the nice looking plants require ferts and cool temp.

    I only keep low tech plants that don't need ferts, co2 like mosses and mini pelia or pelia, java ferns that dont require ferts and co2. However, I don't have good results with ferns though.

    yes i guess so. ever since i maintain my tank at 26-26.5 degree, no more death. 1-2 degree changes.. is actually quite big, even for US. but i totally learnt that its very important to wait for the tank to be cycled enough before putting in ur precious shrimps.
