    hi all

thinking of setting up a 1 foot tank in my office. so will got for a "bundled"
setup from nature soon. thing is, wat kinda flora n fauna would be suitable for a 1 foot tank?

was thinking of tenellus since i have lots. n maybe a couple small pieces of driftwood. any other suitable plants? small ones only. so my tank will seem "big" while still small. lol

oh yeah, i dun intend to inject co2 tho. lighting will probably be enough for medium light requirements plants.
and for fert im gonna use some base fert n just a bottle of "all in one" fert like sera florena or tetra. or jbl.

how bout fishes? will put in malayans so the fishes should not be ones that will whack them. will be putting in one or 2 ottos.

    yours sincerely,
    jon.

I am currently operating a small 1.5 feet tank without CO2, you can try simple plants like small crypts (parva, willisi etc), hairgrass, blyxa japonica, anubias nana, marselia crenata etc. Moss will be nice also.

fishes, do not load too many, a few small boraras, ruby tetras etc should be nice. keep it simple for a small tank.
