Hello guys,

I am new here, a soon to be uni student.

Am entering the world of aquarium because the idea of harboring and building a good environment for fishes to dwell intrigues me.

I finally appreciate the fact that while you can't play with fishes like dogs, building a tank that is suitable for fishes is tough enough and seeing them happily swimming in the safe environment you've built brings more satisfaction.

Hope to absorb all the "good advice" and share some back around if i can!

Welcome to the forums. While we cannot cuddle our fish, or "play" with them, their behavior + colours are more than enough to make them worthy pets.

I lost count how many times I got excited whenever my fish laid eggs, or when I saw the fry hatching and eventually growing up.
