    Hi all

    I have a question here.

    my new 2ft planted tank , equip with 1xPL 32W 65K and another new 1xPL 32W 10K and 1xFL 18W

    The whole tank is very "bright", but however I noticed somthing seem to be not right as compare to my previous lighting of 2xPL 32W 65K + 1xFL 18W

    there no more bubble from the plant now after 3days. could it caused by the 10K lighting or because I just replant and setup my tank.

    Lighting = 10hr/day
    C02 = 5bb/sec
    liquid fert used
    water temp = 26-28 degree
    1xPL 32W 65K
    1xPL 32W 10K
    1xFL 18W

    There is nothing wrong with 10K PL lights, just that it will be slightly more bluish in color. According to some websites, the blue light rays promote algae growth but since you have a 65K mix into it I think its fine.

    What kind of plants do you have? bubbling for certain plants may be a good sign but it may be a sign of damaged leaves for others. So it depends on the kind of plants you have.

    Its good that you have posted some of your parameters, but what is you current PH and KH levels? This is the two important parameter to know as it determines whether you are having sufficient dissolved CO2 in water column of your tank. If not, a long term CO2 indicator is a worth while investment.

    Besides liquid fert, do you happen to have any base fertiliser?

    Besides the plants are not bubbling, is there anything else you find wrong? Non bubbling does not mean there is a problem. Does you plant show any signs of deficiencies?

    Co2 could be my first guess to why your plants are not bubbling, so a pH and kH reading would be a good idea. Try to work on this.
    Cheers!!

    so far after 4 day.. there no sign of plant dieing yet.. the glosso look ok to me.. teneulle still got turn red color for some part, the lily found a few rotted but there still new one growing out from the soil.

    maybe I will increase the C02 , meanwhile will try to get a KH and PH tester asap.
