Interesting pictures. Very "candid", "street" feel.

I would say that my favorite is picture 9.

However, the roof seems to draw attention away from the main subject (which I assume to be the turning man) to the top left corner. I think that a tighter crop omiting the part of the man's back on the left and the building would make the picture even more impactful. Just my opinion.

Pretty good last minute shoot using only 2 prime lens. Thanks for sharing!

What's the theme for the series that you are working on?

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

    thanks for the suggestion
it shows that we interpret pictures in so many ways.

i left the picture as it is as i deliberately want him to be in the center in this picture. Why? i don't know. It is just how i want it.

I am surprised that you like this picture.
Most people like picture 1 the most, as it has got a "classic" look.

Firewalking is one of the highlights leading to the Deepavali.
I am trying to find time to take some pictures till that date.

    The theme?
faces of the days leading to the deepavali, i guess.

I like to leave my work raw, as you can see.
thats the way i see things around me.

I can understand where you are coming from when you did the crop.
Many people will do the same thing.
Perhaps i see pictures differently now, or maybe i am past the "distractions" stage.

    bro,
one unique theme bro, more to come for you to take these few days.
If only you were at Batu Caves in KL, there will be so many Hindus climbing up the stairs dressed like that too.

    TALKING ABOUT THAT

i just made another series on Little India
THere is another one in Orchard
    Another one in Airport

    My gallery is LINK
the 3 updated ones are at the bottom.

All these are taken with 2 manual lenses
    28 and 50mm

my fav is the 28, because it allows me to get up close to people.
i hate standing at a distance and zooming in. THe pictures lack that kind of punch that a wider lens provides.

ESp in the little india pics, some pics are taken at an arms length from the guys there. I have to go india 1 day.

The more pictures i take, the less i care about technicalities.
I am starting to take pictures with my heart. I hope it is good
throw compositions out of the window! dont want to see it again.
