Visiting Singapore need help for plants, shrimp & equipment

Hi there, Im a a planted tank keeper from Bomaby and I will be visiting Singapore next week so I thought I would pick up a few things that are not availalble in India. I had visited Singapore a couple of years ago and went to Colours and Nature Aquarium and also another fish market closeby. I found a few things and didnt find other stuff.

This time around someone suggested I visit a shop called Green Chapter in Clementi as it is great for planted and Shrimp stuff. Are there any other shops close by ? Im mainly looking for the following :

1] Blue Tiger and Snowball shrimp
2] Some good shrimp food (any brand suggestions ?)
3] Seachem and API products
4] Dry Trace element micro fertilizer powder for EI dosing like CSM+B
5] LED light bars
6] Pwerhead/wavemaker
7] Good quality needle valve
8] Utricularia graminifolia & Pellia
9] Some nice planting tweezers and curved scissors

I hope you guys can help me by telling me where these are available. Also, if any of you guys have the shrimp I want then I would love to meet and buy them from you.

Also, since Im asking for help I was wondering where in Singapore I could get car accesories. Mainly looking for some good detailing products. I know Carrefour has some stuff. Any other places ? Also want an air ionizer for the car.

Thanks for the links but online stores are of no use to me as ill be staying in a hotel and will be there only for a few days

Yup, already planned of visiting Green Chapter. Now Ill go to CRS HAven too. Which are the closest MRT stations to both ? Are the shops walking distance from them ?

Green Chapter is a distance away from Clementi MRT. It is located in between Clementi and Dover stations, behind a mosque if you're coming from the main road. Walking may take awhile, about 10 mins or so from Clementi MRT and roughly the same from Dover. I have no idea for CRS Haven however.

It is wise to refer to the LFS list for addresses and use www.streetdirectory.com to map your walking routes from the MRT stations.

Eh if its far Ill take a cab !! Is it raining quite a bit there ?

CRShaven is quite a far walking distance from the mrt station. It'll be better to take a bus or taxi over, cant remember what are the bus that goes there.
GC is as mentioned by bro stormhawk above. The rain this few days are very unpredicatable.

When you are here, be prepared for hot and wet spells. There are days when the temperature shoots up into the 30+ deg C range, and then suddenly rain and after that hot and humid again. Annoying yes, unpredictable, definitely. Troublesome - oh yeah.

I think you should be able to get most of the shrimps you want at GC, or check the ads from other merchants. Nearby to GC is C328 and Polyart, where you can probably get most of the other stuff (Seachem API etc), no idea for the LED light sets but I guess the shops at Clementi should have them. A bus ride away from these shops is Colorful at West Coast.

Where car parts are concerned, I have no comments. I guess a search for a local car forum would be best, or Google for auto parts.

Personally, i like Seaview for the wide range of equipments they offer. They had a few LED light bars and also discounts off their items too the last time i went there.

For dry ferts, to my knowledge, only Singapore Hydroponics (HPC) and Eco-City Hydroponics (dealer for HPC also) are the only 2 sources in Singapore for Aquatic use. Check out their websites to determine your best option for ordering/getting the products whilst you are here.

Pls note you can't get K2NO3 in powder form unfortunately as its classified as a controlled substance.

In fact there is alot of car accessory shop in Singapore. Carrefour is not really a good place to get car accessory.

Went to GC today and picked up some stuff. Really was a great experience, a big thank you to Ronnie !! So tomorrow Ill be heading back to Bombay. Was a great trip thanks guys !!
