$10 per fish!!! The price is kind of steep.
Corydoras: 2 x adolfoi, 1 x agassizii, 5 x albino aeneus, 3 x arcuatus, 4 x atropersonatus, 3 x axelrodi, 6 x axelrodi variante B, 4 x caudimaculatus, 5 x duplicareus, 8 x goldlines, 3 x kanei, 3 x loretoensis, 6 x melini, 4 x panda, 6 x schwartzi, 3 x similis, 4 x sterbai, 4 x surinamensis, 5 x trilineatus, 4 x tukano & 3 x zygatus
RIP 1 x adolfoi, 1 x albino aeneus & 2 x panda
$10 steep? Some folks here readily pay 3 or even 4 figure sums for their finny friends.... think of Asian bony-tongues, Altums, rare Apistogrammas, rare Loricariids.... and a while back folks were paying a king's ransom for a fish so rare it doesn't even exist in the wild.... only in the Chinese pantheon.
With that dear bro Budak, may you by any chance be refering to.. the legendary flowerhorns? Lol

stiphodon sp. exact sci name anyone?
loupgarou, it is not the goby as shown leh, it is so diff in colors man!
the goby is really really neon blue in color.
looks wonderful man!
anyone got any more pictures to show??
would like to knw more about this fish man.
got scientific name or anything to this fish brothers and sisters????
Chris, the goby you posted is much larger than the neon blue sucker goby (which I can't find even in Baensch)........ there appears to be at least a number of sucker-mouth freshwater gobies (see my Cologne gallery in chitchat for a pic of another)....... which is not surprising given the huge variety (over 2,000 species) found in the goby family.
The neon goby, I recall, looks more like those marine neon gobies, with electric blue striping and small size (1.5 inches) but has a specialised algae-rasping mouth.
think this is the goby that i saw...
enjoy....!

that is indeed the goby, the first picture taken is from chong sua's tank.
the difficulty is this:
when the flash hits the goby, the color is gold.
I surmise that the scales of this goby is very much like the shiny side of CD. depending on the angle of light the color is gold/blue/green/red/brown
which makes it a very nice goby..
oic.......ok will go and get two of those.
walao u really can take pictures man!
if its taken showing neon blue is even better!
hip hip to fish fanatic!
cheers!![:0]
Chris, that means you should try to take at higher ISO without flash, just using as much ambient aquarium light as possible. I assume they're not too active so it is possible.

can't help it.. that goby in picture one was taken through about 2.5 feet of water and glass from the right side of the tank...
will try again.. ISO 1600 on my tank with no flash..
Here's another picture of the same goby in CS's planted tank
Think this picture highlights the 'neon' colors better.
The shop owner was mentioning this goby can change its coloration to suit its surroundings hence getting its common trade name, Neon Chameleon Goby.
He also mentioned he requires time to stablize and feel comfortable in the tank before it will show its striking blue coloration. Otherwise it just remains a dull grey.

Chris, are you using minimum apperture (e.g. F/16) cos your DOF looks kind of shallow in pic 2. Are you still using Ap/Tv mode or full manual? I now prefer manual mode because of the much faster shutter response.

I was the one who posted about about the neon goby at Ben's but after searching on the internet, I cant seem to find any neon goby that match it.
Anyone who has it care to share their experience with it? Does it really eat algae like what CS uncle says?
