I'm guessing it would do fine cos I've seen taiwan/Xmas moss grow nicely in tanks warmer than yours. Do let us know how it turns out.

the moss is not spreading, has been a month already.
would like to make a suggestion, should get those ppl to post the temp of their tanks when you guys display it in the my tanks section
thanks
So are your moss turning brown? Normally i only notice considerable growth after 2weeks in my tank. Time to adjust to your water parameters. Also moss is a good algae magnet if you have nutrients imbalance especially high NO3.----------------

One of the feedback I got from fellow hobbyists is that these moss grows faster and nicer when the temp is low(25-26)At rooom temperature(around 2, it is much slower. I suggest you give the moss more time to adapt to its environment and grow. Afterall, moss is a slow grower with the exception of Java Moss. Alternatively, you may wish to consider a chiller, which I think you can do without unless you have excess cash to spare and you do not mind the heat generated by it.
Cheers!
Did you see any white spot at the tip of your moss?
If you do, then is ok.

what do you mean by white spot?

is that ok how do i reduce the NO2 level of my tank
squall99e
waht is the temp of your tank and what is the lighting like
temp 26 deg C and 2.75w/gal
may be you can use the Newbie Planted Tank Help to give more infor?
If your NO3 rise is faster than your plant intake, you can always do water changes to reduce it. Lack of PO4 and K can also affect the intake of NO3.
Try your best in providing more infor so that the rest of us here can help.
If you look at your moss carefully,
You should be able to see tiny white spots at the tip of each thread.
This is an indication of growth in your moss.
If you see them, your moss is good and set to go.
did not relly take water parameters, ph is 6.8 the rest i dont know
i add Potassium Sulfate crystals whenever i change the water, is this all right or should i stop this
