Here's two specimens of Rasbora elegans, I am guessing the first is female and the second male, based on the deeper body, bulging abdomen of the first. Any one can confirm if this is right?

around 5-6cm, got three of them since they're only 3 cm contributed by "longkang fisherman". two has the "male" shape and one has the "female" shape which it keeps even if I don't feed them for a few days.

seems you've got to try to breed them then know(such fast swimming fish, probably would need a 2 ft)..or..."open and see"[]

mine usually does not swim very fast, they can but they tend to just stroll around in the open waters. Have you seen them on sale?

whoa, that's expensive considering they're fairly common even in Singapore.

this is one of the few native fishes that can still be found outside the catchment (read $10,000 fine) so if you have a really big net can consider trawling those BIG longkang in LCK?
