    Hi folks,

I realise most plants requires dH of 2 and above. I understand water in Sg is so soft at around 0. Heard that adding baking soda will increase dH. Is that correct ? If it is, how much per litre ? If not, what can I add ? Thanks.

    Cheers,
    Peter

    true, yes
    needed, not really
my plants are doing fine at undetectable kh levels

    as for increasing kH
don't mind the math, i'm calculating as i go
    1 dkH = 17.8ppm
    1 dkH = 17.8mg/l
    1 dkH = 0.02g per litre
    multiplying by 84/61 = 0.025g per 1 litre water

so if you have a 200 l tank
    use 20g to increase 4dkH
    i think that's correct
