shrimp not eating

Hi i t has been 1 week since my shrimps are in the tank however when i feed them algae wafer they simply ignore. should i find other food?

Maybe they are happy with the algae in your tank already?

Yea i see them eating driftwood gravel soil...... so they eating algae actually?

They are not exactly eating algae alone. They are picking at tiny microscopic food animals that live on the surfaces of things like driftwood etc. You need to feed them the right food like dry pellets meant for shrimps, or they will die from malnutrition, among other things. Algae wafers occasionally get ignored. If they are not even touching the wafers, that means they need some other food. If you constantly try to force them to eat the algae wafer, they won't do it. It's like someone forcing you to eat the same food one whole year, until the day you kick the bucket. Not cool for the shrimp.

Algae wafers or discs sometimes are ignored..Get the food meant for them, they normally have a picture of a shrimp on the bottle.
