Try NA at Thomson road, clementi Blk 328 and colourful, sure u will have what u want above
Hi,
In 3 weeks i am going to visit Singapore (i come from the Netherlands) and i was looking for these plants;
- Trithuria sp. blood red / blood vomit
- Eriocaulon sp."australia"
- Ludwigia Pantanal
and other rare species. I know there are a lot of aquarium shops in Singapore and i am only there for 3 days...
Which ones are worth visiting and can you post these addresses to me (here or by PB)
I also need help in getting them to ship, how do i find a post office?
Regards,
Gilles

Hi Guys, thank you so much for your replies.
I am planning my trip from Backpackers Inn (Mosque Street Singapore) to these shops.
This is what i found now (using the Aquatic Quotient LFS map);
Colourful Tropical Aquarium ( Colourful, CA )
Blk 721 Clementi West Street 2 #01-132 Singapore 120721
Clementi Florist and Aquarium ( C328 )
Blk 328 Clementi Avenue 2 #01-210 Singapore 120328
Polyart Aquarium
Blk 328 Clementi Avenue 2 #01-194 Singapore 120328
These are all in the same area. Rainbow is little further away is it worth the trip and how do i get there?
I mean... At which of the mentioned aquarium shops do i get the most exclusive species?
These are not yet on the LFS map, so i would love to see the full Google address for this.
- NA at Thomson road
- Qian hu at CHua choa kana
- Seaview aquarium
p.s. Does anybody know the address of Mizuworld or don't they have a shop in Singapore?
p.p.s. can i have some contact details like e-mail address or phone using PB so i can ask them to stock the plants?
Thank you!
Gilles

Super service Zack!
The problem is that i don't know which plants i would like to get. I would love to get:
- Eriocaulon amanoanum
- Eriocaulon "Ban Ba Wa"
- Eriocaulon Australia Red (know as vomits blood but actually is a Trithuria sp)
- Eriocaulon "thailand"
- Ludwigia Pantanal
How much? It depends on the S$ price off course and the health of the plants. I prefer to see them in the shops first. So if you can make some calls for me i would love to give you some US$ on paypal.
p.s. i prefer emersed plants since they survive shipping to NL better.
Any tips?
FYI, I only manage to spot eriocaulon bloody red 'australia' so far in lfs. Cost less than $10 SGD. However I must say it's not so red.

Any LFS in particular or all of the mentioned? And what was the quantity (1 pot, or ...?)
For the ones you mention, definately have to order from supplier as lfs do not normally carry these. Yes, one pot

Can you inquire if the plant is available and how many plants are in 1 pot?
you need to confirm orders for this kind of plants. quite difficult for the lfs to call and ask an get back to you. hah. 2or 3 stalks in 1 pot
Zack
I know, if you can find out if plants are able to supply on september 25th, i can confirm to you and pay you in advance.
will help you, get back to you
Zack
Hi Zack, can you give me an update?
Currently in Sri Lanka
Already checked for you, but the auntie are not sure of the plants as well. She said need to check with the suppliers. And here comes one problem, they won't be much bothered about this unless it's a confirm order.

Hi guys, so far at Clementi 328 I have seen Eriocaulon Australia Red, Eriocaulon Thailand, Eriocaulon China, Eriocaulon Vietnam which comes fairly regulary and sometimes a type of Eriocaulon like Eriocaulon amanoanum but the leaves are more curve. Most of the Eriocaulon come submerged though.. And Ludwigia Pantanal is actually quite common at C328 too.
If they have them and the price is good i will buy and ship them. If they don't have them and are able to ship them i will also pay them there.
Please tell her my name (Gilles) and i will identify myself once i get there.
