Hey all!
Just wrote a new post on Bucephelandra "Kualakuayan"#1, this is the first of a series of posts on this genus of Aroid, so check back often! But for now go check this one out by clicking the link below. Here's a snippet of what you'll find there:
The variety we will be covering today is Bucephelandra sp."Kualakuayan"#1.
It was named "Kualakuayan" because it was found near that town, it is a small town in Borneo's Kalimantan Tengah region.
The unique characteristics of this variety is that:
1. Grows very tightly packed together
2. Lighter green color
3. Little to no ribbing/waving on the edges of the leaves
4. Leaves grow to a max length of about 1 1/2 in. and 1/2 in. wide
TY for taking the time to check this post out!

I think I saw it at Green Chapter.
Does this plant need Co2 injection ?
When a habit begins to cost money, it's called a hobby.

Breeding Apisto inca and Apisto guttata...
dkk08 - they can be grown both in and out of water, typically they are found emersed nearby the water's edge/surface.
chris168 - No it does not, although it helps a bit. This genus of plant grows quite slowly, so if you were to add CO2, you would see a slight increase in growth speed, but not like that of stem plants. But no CO2 is not a necessity.
Apistoinka - Yes it can be grown in soil
Where to get it... Looks nice...
