Breeding Apisto inca and Apisto guttata...
hi guppee & Apistoinka... at this moment... keeping some red badis with some red shrimpp in a not here not there planted cube 1feet!!!
was keeping Cacu and Vejita but gave them away as i was moving house!
next week... got some nice Apisto coming... maybe will go grab a pair or two...
Bitaeniata & Agassizii "castanho" be on my radar this coming week!!! but heard that those i interested in is coming in size XL!!! kind of prefer younger fish but sometimes XL is small...only the money involved is XL!!! haha
maybe can go stir coffee and chat over in Ang Mo Kio!!!
its kinda amazing to see them grow... the character the colouring...
i heard that Bitaeniata "Castanho", "Shishita" and "Maniti"... but cant find much to read about for "Maniti"... only shows JZX brought them in a couple of months back!!!
anyway... too much variant... see also BLUR!!!
Yes, it's also their "character"/behaviors that make them such interesting creatures.
Once, I had a spawning pair of hongsloi protecting their eggs against a cheeky mendezi, and the issueing rounds of confrontations were so entertaining, especially the gutsy female hongsloi.
Anyway, let's catch-up at amk when the shipment is here.
... ... i can only dream of at this moment!!!

Yeah, The Agassizii family... Same taste as me when i started into Apistogramma. In love with the style of Agassizii looks. Looks very Chio..But after some time and get to see more species more beautiful one. Then from there you will know which is the one you really like...

... no wonder... more and more tanks!!! ITS AN ADDICTION!!!
colours and finnage... and the elusive ONE!!! the Quest is on...
thru experience... any difference with wild caught and home breed???
Yes poison~ When comes into breeding more tank is needed. And you will do all kind of wild setup for your Apistogramma. Will never feel satisfied with the scape.. The difference Wildcaught have more captive bred helps to keep the lines healthier and the color is very intense and solid compared to Farm breed...

hahaha no wonder... familly always says... what the hell they doing... busy busy busy... thought keeping fish is easy!!!
Bro Chri168... see you into IT alot... no show your rack!!! saw a Bernie guy rack setup at the other post!!! damn swee!!!
kinda weird... given good food good water... hot day got air-con cold day switch on heater and cant beat NATURE!!!
Actually Apisto are easy to care... Weekly water change are important as they prefer clean water... So that why too many nice species end up with many partition tank... So partition tank is the best to save space and still able to keep many species of Apisto...
