    Channel 8 news says that seaquest, in singapore, is selling small sharks at $18 i saw its a black tip reef shark..
    unbelieveable

    if anyone keeping them sure the next place for the shark is in the soup bowl (shark fin soup) []

    pls do not try to keep sharks especially black tip sharks.. they have almost zero survival rate in captivity.. []

    Yeah, sharks are open water fish. Not suitable for aquaria setup unless very large ones. How big a tank can housing estate accommodate? Saw at CORAL REEF in Eunos Industrial Park a tank ard 8ft i think, with a 1m shark swimming in circle. Very pitiful, felt the display give a bad impression to us fish lovers. Can see it very distress, don't they know keeping sharks is equivalent with keeping wild animal like tiger.Try putting their hand in the tank!Dangerous animals should be left in the wild.There should be a limit to commercialization, already enuff of them end up as shark fin soup. Documentaries on sharks to educate ppl recently might not be enuff.
