Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Come to AQ's full site, use Settings and mange your subscriptions. That may help.
As tapatalk can connect to several brands of forums, they probably use the word "Participated" to represent what is known as "subscriptions" in vBulletin (which AQ uses) and other words by other forum brands.
You can check their forum for answers. http://tapatalk.com/forum/index.php
From Tapatalk:
1. Goto Participated tab.
2. Open the thread you want to remove.
3. Open the menu. (I'm on Android. Don't know if its the same on iPhone.)
4. Tap Unsubscribe.
You can also long-tap the thread to open a context menu. Choose Unsubscribe.
You can also tap the star at the corner of the thread to Unsubscribe. Then refresh the view. Those that you unsubscribe will disappear.

After all that, I realize participated does not care about subscription. Think you can't remove threads from participated.
