hornwarts are very good for nitrite absorbing but have to check which hornwart species you have as some is more prone to lose their needle like leaves and cause your tank to be messy.. look for those hornwarts which are sold together with shrimps... those are hardy type...
for picture taking, SWITCH ON your lights, your camera autofocus shoulf be able to capture the image with sufficient lights...

Okay thanks. Will head to aquastar this week to find out which species of hornworts I have and will get some rocks and plants. I don't have any lights other than sunlight or the ceiling lights. :/
ICIC, if thats the case take picture during the day when sunlight is available. your tank have direct sunlight..possible algae problem? you can't have many types of plants if your lights are too dim. all plants need lights, including basic plants
btw, there is no need to ID hornwarts that seriously...i doubt the auntie and uncles can give you the actual name...however they are generally quite hardy. i find them more hardy than moss
