Congratulations . That must have been a nice surprise. Throw in some floating breeding mops and you'll find the eggs easily.
A few months ago, i acquired a group of pseudomugil gertrudae, and was planning to spawn them after my exams (which will end next week ). Unbeknownst to me, they have already spawned However, they were placed in a community tank, and of course all the eggs were eaten up.
Luckily, i transfered some pellia to my sulawesi tank, and there must have been an egg attached, because there is now one fry living in the tank with my sulawesi shrimps.
Sorry for the blur pics, they are very camera shy and start darting around when the camera is near
Here's some pics of the fry, taken 2 weeks ago
And the adults:

Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
Haha, that will be after next week when my exams are over. I have already started an infusoria culture to prepare, hope that can breed them as soon as possible.
Get a green water culture going too. They seem crucial to the survival of the fry, which so happens to have really puny mouths.
I reckon the fry you have now survived solely on the microscopic animals in the Sulawesi tank. Perhaps a separate breeding tank might be useful to ensure you have a decent number of eggs from the gertrudae. The presence of the Chela, Micropoecilia and pencilfish in the tank means most of the eggs probably got eaten.

Newbie to furcatas. i have try alot of time to breed them, unsuccessful everytime!!! i set up barebottom 10g breeding tank with 1M 2F with 2 yarn mop.
Temp 72-76F
PH 6.8-7
feed flake food 2 times a day and bloodworm once a week, do i need to feed bbrine shrimp to give high nutrineous?
please advise.
It would be good to give them more live food to condition them for breeding. For mine, i feed once a day, alternating between flake food and frozen brine shrimp. For your temperature, it seems a bit too low, maybe a minimum temperature 25 deg celcius (77 F) will be better.
